The Role:
Our drivers are one of the most important roles within Palletforce Logistics Sussex, and as a fully qualified Class 1 Driver, you will have the important role of delivering our consignments to and from our hub., whilst being safe and taking care of yourself on the road.
* Driving our Double deck trailers to and from our hub.
* Ensure health and safety standards are adhered at all times.
* Various HGV duties, including daily checks to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use, complying with vehicle security and standing procedures at all times.
* Able to work Saturday morning, returning from Friday night Trunking movement.
What we need from you:
* Qualifications. Class 1 Driving Licence
* Experience.Previous experience is essential. Will have completed a CPC Training Course and have a strong geographical and logistical knowledge.
* Communication. You will have good communication skills, spoken and written.
* Influence & Persuasion. Build good working relationships with work colleagues, customers and HUB staff.
* Planning & Organisation. You will be adaptable in your start and finish times depending on requirements.
