We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Claims Manager to lead our high-performing Claims Team. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive operational excellence, ensure compliance with fund rules and regulations, and champion exceptional customer service across all claims channels.
What You’ll Do
* Lead, coach, and mentor a skilled claims team to meet service and performance targets
* Oversee claims processing, hospital eligibility checks, and claim enquiries
* Implement best practice frameworks in quality, coaching, workforce planning, and reporting
* Drive innovation and continuous improvement in claims operations
* Engage with industry to ensure claims team are prepared in meeting industry, regulatory or commercial changes
What You’ll Bring
* Proven leadership in a regulated, high-volume claims environment
* Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Experience in business planning, performance reporting, and change management
* Demonstrated expertise in staff recruitment, training and development of staff
* Tertiary qualification in business or related field (or equivalent experience)
* A genuine passion for customer care and team development
* Knowledge of the health insurance industry and relevant legislation is desirable, or any highly regulated industry such as general Insurance or Financial Services highly regarded.
