We are working on behalf of our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation, to recruit a mechanically biased Product Support Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to which you will enjoy working in a varied role.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles. You will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of engineering projects, working collaboratively across teams to meet deadlines and maintain the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working in Production to troubleshoot.
* Creating new parts on the PLM.
* Amending older product drawings to update to current requirements.
* Working in collaboration with Senior Management.
* Using 3D CAD, 2D CAD and MS Paint.
What We’re Looking For:
* Minimum qualification to HNC in a mechanical engineering discipline.
* Some hands on mechanical experience is preferred.
* 3D CAD to a competent level, Solidworks preferred but other CAD systems considered. Some use of 2D CAD would be preferred.
* Ability to draft technical documents and reports to a good standard.
* Can react to changing workloads and priorities.
* Good communication skills as you will be collaborating with different departments at all levels as a matter of course.
