Functional Skills Tutor (Outreach) - Havering Hours: 10 to 15 hours per week Rate: From £25 per hour Start Date: ASAP About the Role: Prospero Teaching is seeking dedicated Functional Skills English and Maths Tutors to deliver 1:1 personalised learning sessions to young people in Havering who are currently not attending mainstream school. As an Outreach Tutor, you will design and deliver bespoke learning plans focused on bridging gaps in English and Maths (Functional Skills), helping learners re-engage with education and rebuild confidence. This role is ideal for experienced educators looking to move away from the traditional classroom setting in favour of a more flexible and student-focused approach. Many of the students you'll support may have been out of education for some time, and you'll play a key role in reintroducing structure and motivation into their learning routines. You'll be supported by Prospero's experienced team who will help monitor student progress and provide guidance throughout the placement.
