Airport Dimensions Overview
At Airport Dimensions, we understand how the spaces we create affect travelers’ time at the airport. We have delivered an award-winning hospitality experience across our network of airport lounges in the US, Europe and Middle East. We currently operate 50 shared-use lounges and explore spaces beyond traditional lounge services to meet future traveler needs and support airport competitiveness.
Purpose of the role
We are looking for a Finance Lead on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role sits within the EMEA & APAC team, supporting at the global level. The successful candidate will be organized, self-motivated and committed to continual improvement.
You will be responsible for managing consolidated divisional results, providing global business partnering and supporting the wider senior management team with accurate, insightful information to drive performance and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, manage and monitor the integrity of the management and financial data used for Board Reports, management accounts, budgets and forecasts; resolve issues identified and liaise with stakeholders as required.
* Develop and enhance the monthly consolidated management reporting process.
* Prepare value-add analysis and commentary on monthly results for inclusion in the Board Report.
* Enhance support and insight to stakeholders.
* Support annual budgeting and quarterly rolling forecasting process.
* Analyse variances to improve forecast accuracy.
* Support financial system migration.
* Influence and proactively develop the finance requirements within the finance transformation roadmap.
Knowledge, skills and experience required
* A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
* Extensive relevant experience. Familiarity with the travel industry is a plus.
* Ideally a quantitative degree (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Maths) achieving 2:1 or above.
* Knowledge/experience of multi-national groups with multi-currencies.
Skills
* Strong financial accounting skills, including working knowledge of FRS 102 and consolidation.
* Advanced Excel skills including sumifs, vlookup and pivot table. VBA and Power Query desirable.
* Proficient in PowerPoint and Word.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Great interpersonal and communication skills and ability to maintain good working relationships with stakeholders.
* Experience working on Microsoft Dynamics and/or Infor would be preferred.
* Experience of process automation and/or financial modelling desirable.
