Location: Norwich, NR8 Details: I am a young girl with significant developmental impairment in communication and sensory difficulties. I am looking for someone to encourage my independence and help me to have a good time enjoying activities. I require one to one support with all my personal care and someone who will keep me safe because I do not recognise danger. When I am tired, I may become dysregulated which can cause behavioural issues. You would ideally have experience in supporting a child with Autism. Person specification Essential: · Caring and empathetic· Flexible· Female carer due to the personal care element (Schedule 9, P1 of the Equality Act 2010 applies.)· A good sense of humour· Active Desirable: · Experience with supporting someone with Autism and Developmental Delay Summary terms and conditions: · The rate of pay for this position is £12.89 per hour· Hours and times of work: Minimum of 3 hours per week plus additional hours arranged flexibly. Exact days and times will be advised in advance.· The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.· This position requires the employee to complete the following free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety.
