Maintenance Planner
We are recruiting for a Maintenance Planner (Asset Care Scheduler) to join the Engineering and Maintenance team at our Coleraine Dairy Consumer Foods site on the River Bann. Kerry Coleraine has a long history of producing high quality dairy products since the 1940s and supplies a range of cheese slices to major UK and Ireland supermarkets. The site also includes a child’s yogurt plant and a newly commissioned appetiser plant as part of Kerry’s continued innovation and development.

Key responsibilities
* Adopt a “Safety First and Quality Always” approach when planning all maintenance work.
* Efficiently plan, schedule, and control the workflow of all non-emergency maintenance from origination through to assignment.
* Manage SAP data integrity for plant and equipment structures, maintenance plans, task lists, and work orders for the business area.
* Coordinate parts, machine availability, and time for maintenance engineers.
* Manage and own contractor site inductions and permit requirements.
* Liaise with production, supply chain, and maintenance to achieve maintenance objectives while ensuring production can achieve the desired output.
* Work with Quality Compliance to ensure GMP is maintained across functions.
* Ensure all maintenance works align with engineering standards including sanitary design, safety, ergonomics, and food safety requirements.
* Identify opportunities for improving ways of working and preventive maintenance regimes.
* Maintain records and files for analysis and reporting, ensuring files are audit-ready.
Qualifications and skills
* Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is essential; experience in food manufacturing is highly desirable.
* Experience in data analysis and use of applications (Excel, Word) and business systems; SAP and SAP CMMS experience is highly desirable.
* Experience in a maintenance environment, asset care, or facilities management is preferred.
* Well organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently without direct supervision.
* Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
* GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English at grade C or above.
