About the role
As the Sr. Global Manager – EHS, you will lead the global EHS program across Securitas’ datacenter physical security operations. You will create and manage systems, policies, training, and cultural initiatives to protect people and mitigate risks. This role manages a geographically dispersed team of EHS professionals and serves as the primary liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including client EHS leadership.
This high-impact, collaborative position is ideal for a senior leader experienced in global EHS operations, risk prevention, safety culture transformation, and managing large, cross-functional teams.
What you’ll do
You will lead the strategic development and execution of a global EHS program supporting datacenter physical security operations. You will oversee a distributed team of EHS professionals, ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a strong safety culture. Your responsibilities include creating policies, defining KPIs, conducting risk assessments, managing emergency plans, and driving safety improvements. You will mentor staff, collaborate with stakeholders, investigate incidents, and manage client relationships to align with service and safety expectations.
What you need to apply
We seek a professional with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with relevant safety certifications. You should have 15+ years of progressive EHS leadership, with experience in global safety programs and compliance. Experience in a datacenter environment and working with security vendors is a plus.
You must have strong leadership skills for global teams, strategic program management, and excellent communication abilities, including presenting to senior leaders. A proven track record of influencing safety culture and aligning EHS with business goals is essential.
This role involves 30% travel, so a passion for travel, a valid passport, and flexibility for domestic and international trips are required. You should be comfortable working evenings or weekends during emergencies.
