Cranswick Gourmet Sausage Co. (Lazenby’s) is a fast-paced sausage facility located in Hull. Using only the best cuts of British pork, fresh herbs, and spices, Cranswick is the UK's leading producer of gourmet sausages, supplying major retailers and foodservice outlets.

An opportunity has arisen for an HR Administration and Data Apprentice. We seek a passionate individual eager to develop and contribute to the HR function. This role provides support and all-round assistance to the Human Resources Department while studying for a qualification.

The responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, HR processes, payroll support, employment legislation, policy and minute taking, recruitment, data analysis, and training and development, all while maintaining confidentiality.

This role is suitable for a graduate seeking an entry-level HR position, with progression opportunities available.


Shift:

Monday to Friday


Key Responsibilities:

* Capture and analyze HR data, creating reports and graphs to assist dissemination of information across departments.
* Input data using HR system; People XD.
* Maintain accurate personnel records on the HR system.
* Support payroll processes in collaboration with the Payroll Administrator.
* Present concise information to HR personnel as required.
* Assist with recruitment activities, including collating CVs, sifting information, and preparing documentation.
* Support recruitment advertising and interview processes.
* Maintain information streams such as TV communications and notice boards.
* Design posters, newsletters, and HR media for engagement initiatives.
* Respond to employee queries across departments.
* Assist with absence statistics, sickness monitoring, and counselling record keeping.
* Provide administrative support to the Learning & Development team.


Candidate Requirements:

* Working towards or willing to undertake CIPD Level 3 qualification.
* GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Advanced Excel skills are advantageous.
* Methodical and logical approach to tasks.
