Key Responsibilities :
* Develop, implement, and regularly update the school’s SEND policy in line with statutory requirements.
* Lead the strategic direction and development of SEND provision across the school.
* Advise senior leaders on resource allocation for SEND and contribute to whole-school improvement planning.
* Promote a culture of inclusion, high expectations, and equal opportunities for all learners.
* Coordinate the identification and assessment of pupils with SEND.
* Oversee screening, diagnostic assessments, and referrals to external specialists.
* Maintain an accurate and up-to‑date SEND register.
Key Experience & Knowledge :
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete it within required tim…)
