Our client, a leading international consultancy, is expanding its North West team and seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join their award winning building surveying team.
Key Responsibilities of the Building Surveyor:
Provide advice on repairs, maintenance, and improvements for both residential and commercial properties.
Ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes, health and safety standards, and regulations.
Conduct thorough building inspections, identifying and assessing the condition of structures.
Prepare detailed reports and recommend solutions for any identified issues or defects.
Assist in managing the design and implementation of building projects.
Collaborate with other professionals such as architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Requirements of the Building Surveyor:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction techniques, and health and safety standards.
Experience in surveying commercial properties.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Ideally, you will have or be working towards MRICS (Chartered status) but this is not essential.
