Priory Hosiptal Burston House is looking to recruit a Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. This is a 6 month fixed term contract covering 30 hours per week. We are happy to discuss your preferences for working days and hours, with shifts typically available between 7am–5pm, Monday to Sunday.

Priory Burston House, located in the historic market town of Diss, near the border of Suffolk, provides level 2 rehabilitation for male patients with a learning disability.
Across rehabilitation and low secure care, our specialist learning disability service also cares for adults who may have complex mental health needs, including autism and personality disorders.
What you’ll be doing
* Supervising a team of cleaning staff to deliver high standards across the site
* Planning and coordinating staff rotas to ensure continuity of service
* Supporting recruitment, induction, and ongoing development of team members
* Monitoring cleaning standards and ensuring compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
* Managing stock, equipment, and supplies, including ordering and stock control
* Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or hazards
* Supporting training and ensuring team compliance with required standards
What you’ll bring to the role

* Good standard of English, with basic numeracy and literacy skills
* Previous experience in a cleaning role, ideally within a healthcare or similar environment
* Experience within a hospital/hotel environment together with some supervisory experience
* Good understanding of health & safety, COSHH, and cleaning standards
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team positively
* Reliable, organised, and able to manage workloads effectively
* Good attention to detail
* Physical stamina to carry out an active role throughout the day
