Regional Account Manager – South West

Salary Range: £42,000 – £56,000 + bonus + benefits
Job Description
BD, a leading global medical technology company, is seeking a Regional Account Manager to expand and manage customer relationships in the South West of the UK. The role focuses on driving sales growth and ensuring customer satisfaction within NHS Pathology, Clinical, and Procurement functions.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a multi-year territory plan to gain market share and expand current accounts.
* Maintain and establish relationships with key NHS collaborators and support long‑term sales growth.
* Promote BD Specimen Management and BDX solutions as the BD brand ambassador on the territory.
* Act as the key SM “Point Person,” partner with customers, and resolve issues while engaging internal support functions.
* Collaborate with internal cross‑functional resources to support territory plans.
Qualifications
* Proven track record in territory management and building relationships with NHS Pathology & Clinical Services.
* Willingness to travel 80% of the time and continuously improve selling efficiency.
* Experience with pre‑sales, tendering, contracting, and implementing solutions and managed service contracts with NHS Pathology Services.
* Strong understanding of NHS purchasing processes and healthcare procurement.
* Excellent presentation, financial, negotiation, and multi‑opportunity management skills.
