Overhead Crane Operative - Immediate StartLocation: Lound, Retford DN22
Barker Ross are recruiting for an experienced Overhead Crane Operative to join a busy precast concrete manufacturing site based in Lound, Retford (DN22).
This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing, full-time work with regular hours and overtime available.
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday
* 6:00am - 2:30pm
* Saturdays paid at time and a half (after 40 hours have been completed in the week)
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating overhead cranes to safely move precast concrete products
* Lifting and positioning heavy materials around the production facility
* Supporting production and yard teams with material handling
* Carrying out daily crane checks and reporting any faults
* Ensuring all lifting operations are completed safely and in line with site procedures
Requirements:
* Valid overhead crane licence (in-date and accredited)
* Previous experience operating overhead cranes in a manufacturing or construction environment
* Strong awareness of health and safety
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Reliable and punctual with a proactive approach to work
