This role is about far more than valuations — it’s about building long-standing relationships, developing business, and converting opportunities quickly and effectively. The Role As an Auction Valuer, you will be responsible for: Carrying out property valuations for auction, both from incoming leads and self-generated opportunities Proactively business developing within your patch to generate new instructions Building and nurturing long-term relationships with vendors, agents, solicitors, and referrers Advising clients on auction suitability, pricing, and strategy Managing properties through strict auction timelines and deadlines Working closely with sales support, admin, and marketing teams to ensure properties are auction-ready Representing Edward Mellor Auctions professionally at all times About You The ideal candidate will: Have previous experience working as a Property Valuer (essential) Ideally have experience within auctions or a strong understanding of the auction process Be highly proactive, self-motivated, and driven Be confident generating business as well as handling incoming leads Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills Be comfortable working to tight timescales and firm deadlines Be organised, resilient, and commercially minded The ideal candidate will be based in the South Manchester/Cheshire area as the role will involve working closely with branches and properties located across these regions.
