Job Title: Store Team Leader

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Twilight shift 11:30 - 20:00, Monday to Friday

About You

You are highly organized, confident in prioritizing tasks to ensure health and wellbeing are top priorities, and adept at problem-solving. You lead your team to ensure operational processes, stock management, and high standards of visual merchandising are delivered on time and to company standards, exceeding customer expectations. You interpret sales reports and provide guidance to improve sales and customer engagement, ensuring the smooth running of daily store operations.


Responsibilities

1. Create effective schedules prioritizing customer needs.
2. Organize, oversee, and motivate the store team to increase sales performance through exceptional customer service across checkout, service desk, and engagement.
3. Manage payroll, holiday planning, and colleague training.
4. Drive compliance with company policies and protocols within the Operations team.
5. Ensure understanding and implementation of safe working practices, investigate breaches or near misses.
6. Manage daily team operations and address any personnel issues promptly.
7. Promote a strong team ethos that supports individuals, fosters cohesion, and builds pride within the Mole Valley team.
8. Demonstrate and promote excellent product knowledge across the team.
9. Organize staff levels efficiently to meet business needs.
10. Prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of processes such as banking, reports, gap checks, pick lists, price integrity, order management, and credit claims.
11. Maintain stock file integrity to maximize product availability.
12. Report, action, and correct all health and safety issues.
13. Become an expert in our products and overall business to effectively support customer queries and decisions.
