This opportunity is based within a welcoming primary school in the Mansfield area, where supporting pupils with additional needs is central to everyday practice.

As the SEN Teaching Assistant in this role, you will be an essential part of the school’s SEND provision. You will collaborate with class teachers, support staff, and families to ensure that each child receives individualised support. The school is committed to professional development and will encourage you to grow your skills and confidence in supporting pupils with a range of needs.

Experience supporting pupils with SEN in a primary setting – desirable

Ability to work 1:1 or in small groups to deliver targeted interventions

Good understanding of strategies for supporting pupils with diverse SEND needs, including social, emotional, and learning differences

Strong communication skills for building positive relationships with staff, parents, and external professionals

A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to working with children

Confidence adapting activities and resources to meet individual learning needs
