We are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the central finance team of a well-established multi-academy trust based in Bolton on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a supportive and busy team environment. Location: Bolton, BL2 Rate: £16.31 - £17.47/hour DOE Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm (Full-time, Full Year) Start Date: Immediate/ASAP start available Contract: Temporary until at least September What You'll Be Doing: Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently Handling supplier queries and maintaining strong working relationships Completing supplier statement reconciliations Assisting with payment runs Managing and responding to the finance inbox Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties What We're Looking For: Previous experience within a finance assistant, purchase ledger or accounts payable role Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Confident communication skills when dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders Experience working in a school or education setting would be advantageous, but not essential This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable organisation and contribute to a busy finance function within education.
