Your Role at a Glance
This position offers an exciting entry point with the opportunity to grow into a Client Services Specialist role. You will become a key player in ensuring exceptional client experiences by supporting the wealth planning team, liaising directly with clients and third-party providers, and managing core operations.
* General Administrative Support:Provide administrative assistance to the team, manage office supplies, and help with day-to-day operations.
* Portfolio Management:Maintain and update client portfolios, input data, and generate performance reports while ensuring compliance.
* Client Relationship Management:Manage client data, coordinate meetings, prepare communications, and track service milestones to enhance client engagement.
* Document Preparation & Compliance:Handle onboarding documents, Letters of Engagement, and ensure compliance with FCA and AML regulations.
* Operational Support:Coordinate with suppliers, resolve administrative requests, and facilitate smooth operations, escalating issues when necessary.
* Marketing & Communication Support:Assist in creating client newsletters, social media content, and ensuring brand consistency.
What You'll Bring
Essential
* Experience:1–2 years in administration, ideally within financial planning or professional services.
* Communication Skills:Exceptional written and verbal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with high-net-worth clients and internal stakeholders.
* Attention to Detail:Meticulous and proactive in managing client data, documentation, and deadlines.
* Organisational Skills: Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and stay composed under pressure.
* Technical Proficiency:Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), financial platforms, and CRM systems. Quick to adapt to new systems and workflows.
* Client-Focused:A dedicated approach to delivering a seamless and personalised client experience.
* Compliance Knowledge:Understanding of FCA/AML requirements, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of compliance.
Desirable
* A degree or equivalent qualificationin Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
* Familiarity with financial administration, investment platforms, and wealth management terminology.
* Experience in marketing or communications– such as assisting with client newsletters, social media content, or branding—would be a valuable asset.
* Working knowledge ofclient relationship systems, digital tools, and workflow platforms commonly used in financial planning firms.
