Multi-Skilled Engineer – Electrical Bias
We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer – Electrical Bias to join a busy site providing multi-disciplinary maintenance services. This role is ideal for a proactive engineer who can work across electrical and mechanical systems, delivering high standards of service and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical equipment.
2. Carry out general building maintenance and electrical installation tasks as required.
3. Record and report all work accurately using the site management system.
4. Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and statutory requirements.
5. Support colleagues and maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
6. City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent)
7. 17th/18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
8. IPAF 3A & 3B certification (desirable)
9. Basic mechanical knowledge (advantageous)
10. Experience maintaining electrical and mechanical systems to defined standards
11. Ability to read technical drawings and solve problems effectively
12. Good communication skills, both written and verbal
13. Flexible, reliable, and able to provide cover when needed
Desirable Skills:
14. Multi-disciplinary maintenance experience
15. Knowledge of building management systems
16. Experience in highly operational or technical environments
Shift Pattern:
17. 5 on / 2 off, 6 on / 3 off (07:00–17:00)
18. On-call responsibilities during shift
19. 7 days a week coverage
