Key Responsibilities
- Embed scientific strategy and rigour into end‑to‑end product development.
- Provide internal scientific guidance, advising on formulation, efficacy and clinical relevance.
- Translate complex science into actionable insights for non‑technical teams.
- Manage external partners including dermatologists, testing labs and research institutions.
- Oversee clinical and user testing programmes, interpreting and communicating results.
- Stay ahead of dermatological and ingredient science trends to inform pipeline innovation.
- Build strong relationships with ingredient houses, technical partners and manufacturers.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in a scientific or technical role within beauty, personal care or related industry.
- Qualification in cosmetic science, dermatology, formulation chemistry or similar.
- Commercially aware, balancing scientific rigour with business goals.
- Industry network across suppliers, manufacturers and academia.
- Happy to travel globally for conferences and supplier visits.
