Sonovision’s engineering teams work with global OEMs to provide industry-leading design and manufacturing solutions. Our expanding service portfolio now includes site-specific tooling programmes that span the entire lifecycle from requirements analysis to serial manufacture.
We are able to offer this role initially as part-time with the potential to go full-time.
The expectation is the successful candidate will attend site a minimum of 2 days per week.
The role:
The Junior Project Manager will assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of special tooling projects. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn from senior leadership, gain exposure to complex aerospace and mechanical engineering projects, and develop core project management skills. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the Head of Project Delivery.
Project Support
* Assist with the preparation and maintenance of project documentation including schedules, reports, and WBS/SOPs.
* Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and procurement teams to ensure timely project milestones are met.
* Help monitor project budgets and support reporting activities.
* Participate in risk identification and mitigation planning.
* Support the coordination of RFQs and tender responses.
