Job Specification – Transport Admin / Clerk
Location: Leicester
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday (standard office hours)
The Role
Workforce are recruiting a Transport Clerk / Administrator for a busy client based in Hinckley. This role is POD (Proof of Delivery) focused and is central to the smooth running of daily transport operations. You will join a friendly and supportive team, working in a structured environment with clear responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities – POD Management Focus:
Manage PODs – retrieval, verification, and upload of all Proof of Deliveries into the system. Accuracy and timeliness are crucial, as this forms the backbone of operational reporting.
Unbilled Reports – update weekly unbilled reports based on POD status.
Progress Chase – follow up on all collections and deliveries, ensuring customers are informed of any issues.
Sub Confirmation – produce weekly reports and liaise with subcontractors to confirm deliveries.
Build Jobs – assist in raising jobs on Mandata or internal systems.
Warehouse Checks – analyse warehouse checks to ensure collections are recorded and updated.
Customer Trackers – maintain accurate trackers to monitor KPIs.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring POD accuracy and timely updates, which directly impacts customer satisfaction and business performance.
