Job Description: Legal Secretary
Our client is looking for experienced and organised Legal Secretaries to join their dedicated Private Client Team across multiple offices in Exeter and the surrounding areas.
While previous experience as a legal secretary within a Private Client department is preferred, candidates with strong administrative skills and a proactive, can-do attitude will also be considered, as full training can be provided.
You will be supporting experienced fee earners by providing high quality administrative and secretarial support in a busy, client focused environment.
Main Duties:
* Provision of all audio and copy typing
* Liaising with clients both on the telephone and in person
* Electronic diary management
* Preparing and drafting legal documents and correspondence
* General office duties, including scanning, filing, and photocopying
* Managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files
* Supporting Private Client matters including Wills, Probate, and Powers of Attorney
* Organising appointments, travel arrangements, and expense claims where necessary

Experience & Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a legal secretarial or administrative role is preferred
* Good literacy and numeracy skills
* Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* Experience with legal software systems is an advantage but not essential

Remuneration: Depending on experience
