Job Title: Electrical Project Manager

Salary: £55,000 – £60,000
Description:
We are hiring for our client, who is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their established engineering and projects team. With a major capital programme underway, this role will focus on leading the design, delivery, and commissioning of electrical infrastructure projects within a highly regulated environment.

The Role:
1. Manage design, delivery, and commissioning of electrical projects
2. Develop detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, and resources
3. Oversee design, drawings, and approvals to align with programme requirements
4. Ensure compliance with all technical standards, regulations, and specifications
5. Establish and maintain quality assurance systems
6. Support site teams, enforce H&S standards, and manage safe systems of work
7. Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
8. Monitor progress and performance against targets
9. Lead project meetings and technical discussions
10. Provide guidance to project teams and support commercial reporting
The Person:
11. Degree (UK Level 6 or above) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
12. Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager on medium–large construction projects
13. Strong background in HV, MV, LV, and communication systems
14. Full UK driving licence and own transport
15. Construction industry card (CSCS, CSR, or SafePass)
16. Knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition) and UK H&S standards
17. Proven ability to manage contractors, consultants, and project performance
