Key Responsibilities (Dependent on Client Specialism):
* For Adult/Senior Care:
* Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
* Support clients with mobility, transfers, and heavy lifting when necessary.
* Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
* Monitor and report changes in clients' health status.
* Implement behaviour management strategies for clients with dementia or cognitive impairments.
* Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities.
* Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe environment.
* For Child/Young Adult Support:
* Assist children and young adults with daily activities, promoting independence and self-esteem.
* Implement individual care and development plans tailored to each individual's needs.
* Provide emotional support and encouragement in various settings (home, community).
* Maintain accurate records of progress and any incidents.
* Drive to various locations for home visits and community activities.
* Collaborate effectively with families, team members, and other professionals.
Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for compassionate individuals who are dedicated to providing high-quality care and support. The ideal candidate will have:
* A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (Essential).
* A genuine passion for helping others and making a positive impact.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
* The physical ability to perform duties such as heavy lifting (for adult care roles).
Experience & Qualifications:
* Previous experience in senior care, patient care, childcare, or support work is highly desirable.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, caregiving certificates) are a strong advantage but not mandatory for the right candidate with a positive attitude.
* Experience in implementing care plans is essential for child support roles.
