Operations Manager

You will be working as part of the team at a highly respected Chartered Partner Practice of St. Jamess Place Plc who provide bespoke financial advice and services to a broad range of clients, individuals, high net worth individuals, families, and businesses.
An outstanding new opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager within a highly successful SJP Senior Partner Practice.
You will be managing the operational needs of this busy practice which supports 4 Financial Advisors.
The Role: Operations Manager
Reporting to the Director you will manage all operational aspects of the Practice on a daily basis, including:
Driving the business forward with creativity and positivity
Providing outstanding client service at all times, and inspiring others to do the same
Responsibility for HR and recruitment, payroll, onboarding, appraisals, and development and training of new starters.
Managing the admin support team to effectively deal with all new business and client servicing requirements
Holding regular team meetings to ensure communication of any regulatory changes, and progress towards business goals and objectives
Overseeing the end-to-end business process, ensuring this is managed and tracked efficiently in line with Practice and regulatory standards
Supporting the Partner to maintain client relationships and referrals, service existing clients and assist in building new relationships
Ensuring full compliance with regulatory, CPD, and licensing requirements, positioning the practice as a high-performing, compliant business
Co-ordinating quality audits and regular reviews and renewals of Cyber Essentials, Risk, Company insurances, staff insurances, health, and safety requirements
Responsibility for all facilities and premises management, property maintenance, and payment of invoices
Providing management information on the Business pipeline.
The Person: Operations Manager
You will have a track record as an effective manager in an operational office-based environment, this may be in a Financial Services businessbut is not essential
You will have a good understanding of how you can add value to this business, and you enjoy working as part of a team
You have some HR experience
You are used to using IT systems and may have used Salesforce
You will be a confident professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate others. You have common sense, influencing skills and enjoy problem solving
You will have first class relationship management skills, leading and motivating others to achieve goals
You have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
