At our Production site based in Isleham, Ely, we are looking for a dynamic team player who can exceed in their duties to help us retain our position as a leading fresh produce supplier in the UK. We’re dedicated to using the very best of sustainable farming techniques in our own farming and collaborating with other expert farmers. We grow the finest quality potatoes, root vegetables which we pack ourselves to supply to our customers.
You will join us on a full-time, permanent contract. The shift pattern will be Panama, two days on, two days off, three days on, two days off, two days on, three days off, equating to 80.5 hours per fortnight.
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Line Leader to join the Operations Department to play a key role in ensuring that quality standards are met, and customer orders are completed on time.
Key Responsibilities
* Be instrumental in supporting the team to achieve a minimum of 95% GMP audit
* Follow all business processes and procedures at all times
* Set examples within the team in matters of health and safety consistency
* Consistently meet all production targets/KPI’s set to you
* Consistently strive to maximise throughput/reduce wastage
* Offer suggestions and ideas of ways to improve line performance
Machinery
* Run machinery in line with company’s SOP’s and best practices
* Report issues with machinery to production management and/or engineers
* Work in collaboration with the engineering team on troubleshooting issues
Leadership
* Responsible for managing the staff allocated to your line
* Manage agency staff working on your line & Support them if they are struggling
* Manage your line team to ensure they are meeting all production targets
* Ensure your team are following all company procedures and processes
* Monitor team’s performance and support them to overcome shortfalls
* Record and escalate issues with team to management

Requirements
* Experience in a Line Leader role
* Strong numeracy levels
* Good understanding of English, spelling, and grammar
