Consulting Point is recruiting on behalf of a leading consulting firm looking for a Java Full Stack Engineer to join their fast-growing digital transformation practice. As a Java Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building cloud-native digital platforms and modern web applications. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver value through clean, scalable, and secure code that makes a real impact.
Key Requirements:
* Strong experience developing microservices with Java and the Spring Boot framework
* Proficiency in front-end development using JavaScript or TypeScript with React, HTML, and CSS
* Experience with Docker and Docker Compose
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
* Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
* Ability to use Git for version control, along with platforms like GitHub or GitLab
* Comfortable working in agile delivery teams with strong collaboration and communication skills
Desirable Experience:
* Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
* Experience working with NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB) or SQL databases (such as Postgres)
* Awareness of accessibility, coding standards, and development best practices
* Bonus points for experience with:
* Building microservices in C#
* Integrating large language model tools (e.g., LangChain, Vercel AI)
* GOV.UK Design System or templating with Nunjucks
