Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Mental Health - Bletchley - Education and Training
Overview
This is an excellent entry level role for psychology graduates seeking long term careers within educational or clinical psychology. Ideal for Psychology or Health and Social Care Graduates before you decide on committing to an MSc/Doctorate and Research Project. The role will allow you to see a range of therapist, SEN, ABA Tutors & Mental health specialists at work.
Responsibilities
* Support children and young people by providing educational and mental health assessment and intervention services.
* Work with a tailored curriculum for each student, focusing on learning needs and autism, delivering key and personal/functional skills.
* Collaborate with Specialist SEN Teachers, OTs and outside agencies as dependent on the context of each child.
* Participate in de‑escalation and anti‑social context training to build foundations of experience.
Qualifications
* Psychology or Health and Social Care Graduate.
* Willingness to work with children who have ADHD, Asperger’s, OCD, Dyslexia and social, emotional and mental health challenges.
* Strong communication and team‑working skills.
Salary & Working Hours
£460-£500 per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4:30.
Employment type: Full‑time.
