Currently hiring is a trusted supplier of industrial material, our client is looking to appoint a Parts Advisor near Kintore. This is a hands-on dual-role combining technical stores operations and front-line trade counter service. Core Responsibilities Parts & Stores Operations Provide daily advice on parts usage and availability to workshop teams Manage stock records and storage protocols, including hazardous materials Perform put-away procedures, cycle counts, and pick-fail investigations Coordinate with workshop management on inventory discrepancies Support audits and produce exception reports Handle goods-in/out, internal issues, and purchase orders Trade Counter Support Deliver excellent customer service via trade counter and phone Maintain a secure and well-presented stock display Operate EPOS systems and contribute to stock replenishment Arrange inspections for sold equipment and assist adjacent counters if needed Ideal Profile We’re seeking a dependable, mechanically aware individual with: Prior experience in garages, workshops, or trade counter roles Strong understanding of stock systems and mechanical parts Confidence in interacting with both technical teams and retail customers Familiarity with EPOS or inventory management tools (training provided) A practical mindset and readiness to assist across varied operational areas Benefits Snapshot Pension & Death in Service Employee Discount & Cycle to Work Scheme Annual Bonus (discretionary) Extra Holidays by tenure
