Position Summary
We are looking for a dynamic cross-sectional Radiographer to join the team in CT/MRI at Western General Hospital (WGH) to support our move to a full shift system. The Western General specialises primarily in cancer care and is home to the Edinburgh Cancer Centre. The successful candidate will work 4 × 9‑hour shifts each week and will participate in the full shift rota.
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience of CT & MRI is desirable; training will be provided.
* Relevant NHS experience is desired.
* Good understanding of radiography practice and safety.

* To work in the United Kingdom, a person must demonstrate the relevant permission to work in the country, granted by the UK Visa and Immigration Service.
* This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
* Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check than is currently the case. If the post is assessed as a "regulated role", the appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
