About the Role
We're seeking an experienced
Oracle Cloud Core HR / Payroll Technical Architect
to support and enhance Oracle Cloud HCM solutions for UK public sector clients. This role combines strategic design with hands-on technical leadership across Core HR and Payroll modules.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead Oracle Cloud HCM Core HR / Payroll:
Provide end-to-end technical architecture and support for Core HR, UK Payroll, Absence, and Pension processes.
* Integrations & Data Conversions:
Design and support integrations, data migration, and reporting across relevant modules.
* Technical Leadership:
Translate complex technical solutions for diverse audiences—technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior management.
* Solution Support:
Provide guidance for existing solutions and transition activities.
* Status & Risk Reporting:
Prepare status reports (RAG), maintain RAID logs, highlight risks and mitigations.
* Mentoring & Planning:
Coach team members, contribute to release and delivery planning, and support continuous improvement.
Must-Have Skills
* 12+ years
of Oracle HCM implementation and support experience with
Core HR and UK Payroll modules
.
* Deep expertise in
UK Payroll processes, Pension, and Absence
within Oracle Cloud HCM.
* Strong knowledge of
HCM technical tools

* Payroll Batch Loader
* Custom Forms
* Proven ability to communicate complex technology solutions to technical and business audiences.
* Experience supporting existing Oracle Cloud HCM solutions in the UK public sector.
Preferred Skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
* Strong planning and release management skills.
* Leadership experience coaching or managing small teams.
* Experience with Lean/Agile methodologies.
