Scope:
The EWIS Technical Leader role combines technical expertise with project and team leadership responsibilities to ensure the successful design and production of aeronautical electrical harnesses.
Role:
The EWIS Technical Leader is responsible for technical oversight and team management. They ensure adherence to quality, methods, and internal regulations, guide technological choices, and serve as the technical focal point for project partners.
Responsibilities:
Technical Activities
* Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA V5 and 3Dexperience.
* Expertise in the design of electrical harnesses for aeronautical applications.
* Deliverables include:
* 3D Designs
* 2D Drawings
* Test plans and reports
* Study reports
* Technologies comparison
Project and Team Lead Activities
* Dispatch tasks and follow up on technical achievements.
* Guide technological choices and validate deliverables.
* Identify training needs and upskill team members as required.
* Resolve technical challenges and report progress to hierarchy.
* Organize team meetings and coordinate project stakeholders.
* Evaluate technical and project risks.
* Ensure compliance with quality, methods, and internal regulations.
Required Experience
* Significant experience in aeronautical electrical harness design.
* Knowledge of R&T environments, test processes, and demonstrator production.
* Proven track record in leading technical projects and teams.
Required Skills
* Advanced proficiency in CATIA V5 and 3Dexperience.
* Excellent team management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
* Strong knowledge of aeronautical design standards and practices.
Required Education
* Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* Certifications in CAD software and aeronautical design are advantageous.
