Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Migration Support Technician to assist with a major hardware refresh project. The role involves supporting device migration processes, coordinating with the team, assisting end users, and maintaining accurate records throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and manage the Refresh Clinic for device migrations.
* Transport devices from storage to the Refresh Clinic.
* Assist users with system logins and laptop refreshes.
* Distribute new devices and collect old ones per the migration schedule.
* Update workflow management systems accurately at each step.
* Report and escalate migration issues.
* Conduct daily manual stock checks and report findings.
* Ensure secure packaging and storage of devices for disposal or refurbishment.
* Lock and secure equipment daily.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Experience in IT support, device migration, or technical refresh projects.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to follow structured processes and meet deadlines.
* Experience with workflow management systems.
* Problem-solving and issue reporting skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Must hold an active SC clearance.
