Bartender / Food & Beverage Server
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional Bartender / Food & Beverage Server to join our team. Working from Wednesday through to Sunday. Although flexibility will be required for weekend evening shifts to cover holidays and sickness. This role involves preparing and serving drinks behind the bar, taking food and beverage orders, and delivering excellent customer service in both the bar and the adjoining café area.
Rate of pay is commensurate to age.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
* Take food and drink orders from guests in both the bar and café areas.
* Deliver food and drinks promptly and professionally to seated guests.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar, tables, and café service areas.
* Follow responsible alcohol service practices and adhere to licensing laws.
* Handle cash and card payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
* Monitor customer needs and respond promptly to requests and feedback.
* Restock bar and café supplies as needed throughout the shift.
* Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
* Uphold hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a bartender or server required.
* Knowledge of drink mixing and basic bar equipment.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
* Flexible availability for weekend evenings to cover holidays and sickness.
