FCRMS Asset Management Business Systems Team Senior Advisor – 32232
The Environment Agency’s Asset Management Business Systems Team is seeking a Senior Advisor to support the delivery of carbon and asset‑management tools across the Agency’s infrastructure programme and asset management portfolio.
Responsibilities
* Support EA and external users of operational carbon tools.
* Manage and deliver a range of services to users of carbon tools.
* Agree on and maintain services with a variety of user groups.
* Act as a senior product user for digital improvement projects of our carbon tools and data.
* Plan and manage user activities during the implementation of carbon‑tool changes and improvements.
* Manage the resources and funding for carbon‑tool support and maintenance.
* Work with operational carbon communities and national leads as required.
* Collaborate with IT suppliers and other EA teams, including colleagues in FCRM, Operations teams throughout England, and Defra’s Digital, Data and Technology Services (DDTS).
* Engage with Local Authorities, Water Companies, Internal Drainage Boards and the civil‑engineering supply chain.
Qualifications
* Significant experience and knowledge in carbon management in infrastructure assets, projects or programmes.
* Experience in asset management and/or infrastructure business processes.
* Experience in digital tool development or user implementation services.
* Experience in development of training and documentation.
* Knowledge and skills in stakeholder engagement and effective communication.
* Ability to identify, analyse, evaluate, and implement improved ways of working.
* Ability to take decisions and solve complex business problems.
* A strong focus on efficiency, innovation and quality.
* Strong focus on customers and partners and ability to build and sustain relationships.
* Ability to manage self and work on own initiative.
Location and Working Arrangement
The role is predominantly office‑based, but travel will be required occasionally. Any location for your office base is acceptable.
