WE ARE HIRINGSupport Worker needed for a friendly 14-year-old boy. We’re looking for a kind, patient, and understanding support worker to spend time with our 14-year-old son during weekends and school holidays. He is bright, capable, but as he is autistic, he sometimes finds social situations and day-to-day activities a bit challenging. He would really benefit from someone who can support him to get out more, try new things, and build confidence in everyday life.
About the Role:
* Around 16 hours per month (weekends and school holidays)
* Flexible hours to suit both you and him
* Supporting with outings, social activities, and life skills
* Encouraging independence and confidence
* Based in a friendly family environment
* A current DBS check (or willingness to get one) is required
* Experience working with young people or those with autism would be helpful, but the right attitude and approach matter most

* Able to build a positive and trusting relationship
* Happy to get involved in activities like walks, games, or trips out
* Supportive and encouraging, helping him enjoy life and grow in independence
