Are you an experienced nurse looking for a rewarding role where you can truly impact patients' lives and empower them to thrive in their own homes?

Our service operates 7 days a week from 8 am – 6 pm. These extended working hours allows more flexible working for anyone looking for more flexible hours. Weekend working is generally on a 1:4 ratio with dedicated days off during the week to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance.

There are two teams supporting patients registered with GP practices working in Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas supporting the Tunbridge Wells Primary Care network.

Each team has two senior nurses who to take responsibility for a defined geographical area, who provide clinical leadership to their Band 5, Band 4 and Band 3 staff. The team work together to manage caseload patients delivering a high-quality service.

We're looking for experienced and dedicated nurses with relevant clinical skills and who is ready to embrace the unique challenges and rewards of community nursing.

Candidates wanting to move to a community setting with advanced clinical skills or expertise will be considered. KCHFT is keen to support development and therefore, candidates without the specialist District Nurse qualification or having a recognised advanced clinical skills/module will be considered for trainee posts.

Using the named nurse model, we want to allow nurses to spend more time with patients, promoting self-management where possible, and improving patient lives.

You'll need to have a full UK driving licence and drive your own car, but don't worry – you can claim mileage costs and access the NHS car lease provision after your probationary period.

Together we can empower you to really make a difference to patients’ lives. The very different world we are living in at the moment has given us the opportunity to rethink how we provide our services here at KCHFT.

KCHFT is keen to support development and therefore, candidates without the specialist District Nurse qualification or having a recognised advanced clinical skills/module will be considered for trainee posts. If you're interested in moving to a community setting, please still apply or get in touch as we are happy to support you into achieving your SPDN qualification.
