Job Description:
Join a fast-growing, highly acquisitive manufacturing group with revenues exceeding £350m and bold ambitions for global expansion. Continuing to scale through strategic acquisitions, the business offers a rare opportunity to be part of a high-growth journey from the inside.
You’ll join a collaborative, ambitious finance function at a pivotal time – where your input will directly shape the group’s future.
The Opportunity
As Group Reporting Manager, you’ll report directly to the Group CFO, with a dotted line into the UK Finance Director– giving you genuine board-level exposure and the chance to influence decision-making at the highest level.
This role goes well beyond reporting. Alongside ownership of group reporting, you’ll lead key aspects of FP&A, partner with senior leadership on M&A, due diligence, and acquisition integration, while strengthening controls and ensuring best-practice reporting across the group.
It’s a standout career move for a practice trained ACA ready for a more strategic, global-facing role. Importantly, this position is also seen as part of the group’s succession planning for the UK Finance Director, giving a clear pathway for future progression.
What You’ll Do
* Deliver accurate and timely group consolidations, statutory accounts, and financial reporting
* Lead statutory reporting, tax compliance, external audit, and company secretarial duties
* Drive the budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A process, delivering high-quality analysis and insight to the CFO and board
* Prepare and present board-level reports that influence strategic decision-making
* Partner directly with the CFO on M&A projects, due diligence, and post-deal integration
* Develop and implement stronger financial controls and governance frameworks across the group
* Provide technical accounting support to UK and overseas subsidiaries, ensuring compliance and consistency across all entities
* Deliver financial modelling and scenario analysis to support investment, growth, and acquisition decisions
* Collaborate with senior stakeholders, auditors, and external advisors to maintain strong relationships and effective communication
What We’re Looking For
* ACA qualified with 3 years’ PQE
* Solid experience in statutory accounts and consolidations
* Strong skills in financial modelling, FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting
* Confident communicator, able to present complex data to senior leaders clearly
* Proactive, resilient, and thrives in a fast-paced, acquisitive environment
* Commercially minded, with the ambition to step up into a globally scaling group
What’s on Offer
* Supportive, ambitious, and collaborative team culture
* A role positioned within the group’s succession plan for Finance Director
