We are looking for a dedicated Risk Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Oak Brook, Illinois. This role focuses on managing subrogation processes for automotive claims while supporting risk and insurance analysis tasks. Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough investigations into automotive claims to identify third-party liability and recovery opportunities.
• Gather and organize supporting evidence such as accident reports, photographs, medical records, and repair estimates to strengthen subrogation cases.
• Negotiate with at-fault parties, insurance companies, or legal representatives to recover funds effectively.
• Collaborate with legal teams to ensure compliance and proper handling of subrogation activities.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all actions, communications, and recoveries for accurate record-keeping.
• Prepare analytical and technical reports for corporate and field-level stakeholders.
• Assist in developing presentations and contribute to special projects as needed.
• Generate additional reports based on organizational requirements.
• Provide support to the Risk and Insurance Analyst in various tasks as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience, including a minimum of 2 years in subrogation.
• Strong expertise in risk analysis and subrogation processes.
• Solid understanding of claims data and auto insurance policies.
• Exceptional investigative and organizational skills.
• Effective negotiation skills with the ability to communicate confidently with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in producing detailed reports and presentations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
