Role & Responsibilities:
Prepare key documentation such as manufacturing drawings in 2D using software such as AutoCAD.
Use a combination of specialist design software manual calculation sheets to produce mechanical calculations.
Prepare Bill of Materials to hand over to the engineering team for purchasing.
Coordinate and liaise with the engineering team and client's with regards to design information and design reviews.Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Experience of designing pressure vessels.
A minimum of 5 years design engineering experience.
AutoCAD experience in 2D is essential. Designing in 3D is also preferable.
Experience using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) as a design method is preferable.26105/610
