Duties Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, brakes, transmissions, suspension systems, and other vehicle components Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to carry out repairs and replacements Test vehicles post-repair to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met Keep detailed records of work performed and parts utilised Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during vehicle servicing Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance or repair Qualified to City and Guilds, NVQ or IMI qualified to Level 2 or 3 Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Full UK or EU Driving Licence with the ability to drive automatic and manual cars (no more than 3 points on licence and be 21 years or older) Own tools (desired) This position is ideal for motivated individuals seeking to build a career in automotive repair, offering hands-on experience with modern vehicle systems within a supportive team environment. xxuwjjq
