Primary Teaching AssistantStamford£90 - £95 a day
Randstad Education is seeking a committed and adaptable Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis within our partnership schools in Stamford and the surrounding villages. This position involves supporting various schools on a day to day basis. You will play a key role in assisting teachers in the classroom, working with small groups, and providing 1:1 support to pupils as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
* Work with small groups of students to enhance their learning and understanding.
* Provide 1:1 support to pupils with specific learning needs, including SEN.
* Assist in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
* Help prepare and organise learning materials and classroom resources.
* Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support student progress.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children, ideally within a school setting.
* A flexible and adaptable approach to working in different classroom environments.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
* A patient, caring, and supportive attitude towards working with children.
* Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential.
