Test Lead
A leading scale up in Cambridge are looking for Test Lead Engineer to join their team.
Hands-On Responsibilities
* Perform functional and exploratory testing within an Agile development team.
* Review and clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
* Create and execute test cases during each iteration.
* Investigate issues, analyse logs, and work with engineers to resolve defects.
* Contribute to test automation and provide inputs to CI pipelines.
* Report test results, risks, and progress to the team.
* Testing on Embedded Products
Leadership Responsibilities
* Mentor and support testers across multiple teams.
* Define and maintain testing standards and practices.
* Coordinate testing activities and resource allocation.
* Align testing efforts with product priorities and release plans.
* Communicate risks and quality updates to stakeholders.
* Promote best practices, continuous improvement, and early defect prevention.
* Review and improve test artefacts and identify training needs.
* Act as a quality gate before broader testing phases.
