Job Title: Paediatric Nurse (Adhoc / Part-Time) Location: Leighton Hospital, Crewe Employer: Bluestones Medical Agency Pay Rate: £20.00 - £40.00 per hour About the Role Bluestones Medical Agency is currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Paediatric Nurses to support services at Leighton Hospital on an adhoc / part-time agency basis. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality care to infants, children, and young people while benefiting from flexible working arrangements. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will play a key role in providing safe, effective, and child-centred care while supporting families throughout the patient's hospital journey. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to infants, children, and young people in line with NHS standards. Monitor and assess patients' conditions, responding appropriately to changes in their health. Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively. Work closely with paediatricians, multidisciplinary teams, and families to support the child's care plan. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Follow safeguarding procedures and ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times. Adhere to infection control, hospital policies, and professional nursing standards. Requirements Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration. Previous experience working in a paediatric or children's nursing setting. Strong clinical knowledge in caring for infants, children, and young people. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when working with families. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
