Job Title: Art & Design Lecturer
Kingston College is seeking a dynamic, proactive, and highly organized individual to deliver industry-relevant skills and knowledge to students in our practical vocational courses.
Responsibilities
1. Teach a wide range of 2D and 3D art, craft, and design skills, techniques, and processes.
2. Utilize strong digital skills to teach relevant software, particularly the Adobe Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
3. Support students in developing advanced, specialist skills and understanding, with a broad knowledge of design trends.
4. Monitor and support at-risk learners to achieve or exceed their potential.
5. Support work experience and industry placements.
6. Maintain awareness of academic quality standards and promote personalised learning, equality, diversity, and safeguarding.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant area.
2. Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
3. Recognition as a good or outstanding teacher.
4. Industry knowledge supporting work experience and placements.
5. Experience in monitoring and supporting learners to achieve their potential.
Additional Information
The successful candidate will be eligible for salary increases based on the annual cost of living review.
