Manufacturing Engineer £40,000 - £50,000\nCroydon\n\n About the Role We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our clinets Engineering team in Croydon. In this role, you will support and enhance our manufacturing operations, ensuring our processes meet quality standards while driving efficiency and improvements across products, equipment, and teams. You will become the subject matter expert on the manufacturing processes and products within the business.\n\n What You Will Need\nDegree, HNC, or equivalent in Engineering or a related scientific field.\n\nExperience in a highly regulated industry (preferred).\n\nSolid understanding of component operation principles.\n\nExperience handling engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, work instructions, and inspection reports.\n\nKnowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and root cause analysis.\n\nIdeally, experience with electro-mechanical systems.\n\nAbility to gather, interpret, and translate requirements into practical manufacturing methods.\n\nExperience in identifying and delivering process or product improvements.\n\nExcellent communication and influencing skills to work effectively with stakeholders.\n\nAbility to train, mentor, and support colleagues.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide hands-on engineering support to manufacturing teams to help achieve production targets.\n\nCreate and maintain clear process documentation and work instructions to support manufacturing.\n\nDevelop, qualify, and maintain manufacturing processes with a focus on continuous improvement.\n\nSupport daily operational activities alongside manufacturing management.\n\nEnsure procedures and processes align with customer and business standards.\n\nDesign documentation and processes with manufacturability and efficiency in mind.\n\nAct as the interface between design engineering and manufacturing for product and process introduction.\n\nAssist in resolving non-conformance issues in manufacturing areas.\n\nEstablish and track performance metrics within operational areas.\n\nLiaise effectively with internal teams and external customers as needed
