About Our Client
Our client is a small company, located in the beautifully historic city of Oxford. They are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent, part time basis working 20-25 hours a week.
Job Description
Part Time Finance Manager responsibilities:
* Oversee financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
* Lead and manage the Accounting & Finance department.
* Contribute to financial strategy and decision making.
* Produce timely management accounts
* Cash flow and balance sheet reconciliations
* Manage VAT including preparation of VAT returns for each business entity and submission of group VAT returns'.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
* Monitor and manage cash flow.
* Prepare financial reports for stakeholders.
* Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes.
* Provide financial insight and advice to the board.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Part Time Finance Manager should have:
* An educational background in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Experience of organisations with multiple income streams
* Experience in supervising
* Excellent understanding of financial regulations and standards
* Strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
* Proficiency in using finance software
