Senior Software Engineer
VIQU have parterned with a forward-thinking organisation that is transforming how technology supports higher education, events, and large-scale operational environments. They’re now looking for a Senior Engineer to join their team and play a key role in shaping modern, scalable software solutions.
The Role
As a Senior Engineer, you’ll be involved across the full development lifecycle, working on both new and existing systems. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions while helping modernise technology and processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Building and maintaining scalable web applications using C#, Node.js, and React
* Developing secure backend services and integrations
* Contributing to architecture and technical decision-making
* Troubleshooting complex issues across frontend, backend, and database layers
* Participating in agile delivery (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
* Mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices
* Strong experience with C#, Node.js, and React
* Solid understanding of software engineering best practices (clean code, testing, code reviews)
* Experience working with AWS or cloud-native environments
What’s On Offer
